The SMART Marshalling RACE version is designed for a fixed installation in Racing vehicles that follow a Championship with different races in various circuits around a certain territory. No battery is included in this design, as permanent power from a racing isolated would be used to power the unit.
The unit can be installed anywhere in the vehicle and take advantage of the external Radio and GPS antenna for the best performance.
The compact form factor allows for easy installation and handling. Thanks to the Motorsport connector used for vehicle CAN communication and power, the required maintenance for this solution is very limited.
With the CAN communication capabilities, messages can be forwarded to the vehicle dash for displaying flags and other information.
